AutoLeap Review: The Phone App Sits on the Top Plan

AutoLeap starts at $199 a month, but the plan a mobile mechanic needs is Elite at $449, because its App Store listing says the native iPhone and Android app requires Elite. Online booking sits in a Marketing Suite with no public price, setup carries a fee whose amount is not published, and its terms set a minimum annual commitment.

App on Elite Only

Ranked 6 of 7; Mobile Service Sync scores 100.0. Best for: A repair shop willing to sign for a year that wants plate decoding on every plan.

What AutoLeap Costs a Mobile Mechanic

The published plans are Essentials at $199, Pro at $349 and Elite at $449 a month, each a little lower when billed annually, with Enterprise on request. The plan lines do not say how many users each plan seats.

For a mobile mechanic the choice makes itself. The native app is Elite only, Elite also brings Google review requests, and two-way texting starts on Pro. Online booking and Payments are add-ons with no public price, so $449 is the floor of the bill, not the bill.

A one-time setup fee applies, its amount unpublished, and there is no free trial. AutoLeap's terms of use set a minimum annual commitment.

What It Leaves Out Once You Are in a Van

AutoLeap decodes plates and VINs on every plan. Its mobile mechanic page talks about planning the day, optimising the route and service-area-based scheduling, but it does not say the stops are ordered by drive time or which plan carries it.

Its app page says data syncs and says nothing about working without a signal. Fleet customers get their own pricing and statements, though no net terms or PO numbers are stated. Stock is kept per shop location, and its page mentions truck stock without counting it per van.

If You Are Weighing a Switch

Mobile Service Sync puts the app, two-way texting, review requests and online booking on its $49 Core plan, publishes every price and runs month to month. Read the minimum commitment in your AutoLeap agreement first, because that date, not the new software, decides when leaving is free.

What to move, and in what order, is in the Switching Guide. Mobile Service Sync keeps its own side by side at Mobile Service Sync vs AutoLeap.
